Megadodo Interactive is a research and consulting company focused on the integration of information technology and developmental psychology in order to ease the transition from our shared analog past to our increasingly digital future.
Among the many unique aspects of the human condition, the near infinite variability within the species is the source of both our greatest accomplishments and our greatest tragedies. This variability is the result of the deep diversity of our subjective experience combined with the broad diversity resulting from our multitudes of overlapping cultures.
The unique complication of the human experience has become more complicated in the last few decades with the advent of a technosocial space, the digital realm hovering between cell towers and satellites offering the frontier thrills of anonymity and liberty while defying the geographical constraints that have defined our communication and relationships in earlier ages.
Many communities, individuals, and organizations now exist both in the material space and in the technosocial space and are in the process of figuring out how integrate those existences amidst the rapid advances in personal digital access. With our combined expertise in social system analysis and design and technosocial interface design, Megadodo Interactive offers support that meets you where you are and helps you both discover and reach where you want to be.
One of the preeminent challenges of this period of societal transition is that academic research is struggling to keep up with the breakneck rate of change society is experiencing. The loop between testing, evaluation, review, and implementation is just too big, and that is without talking about the data that gets filtered out to marketers in lieu of scientists. Megadodo Interactive is committed to transparent user data processes, encouraging that digital footprints of interactions become the fodder for scientific inquiry rather than the fuel for a more efficient marketing delivery system.
Rebecca Miller After getting convinced that learning Ruby on Rails was "the way of the future" over 10 years ago, Rebecca has built a few platforms that have been widely used, and a few platforms that have been widely ignored. Rebecca is passionate about data transparency, user privacy protection, standardization, and elegant interfaces. When not pushing bits and data around, she is chasing after her toddler and baking things that don't smell like health food.
Ryan Ringdahl After a first attempt at higher education ended in a major depressive spiral, Ryan spent over a decade working in youth soccer while figuring out how to manage his own neurodiversity. Along the way he became fascinated with why sometimes groups of people became more than the sum of their parts, but other times they became considerably less, and returned to school to get a BA in Developmental Psychology and a MA in Education.
